I studied elect...Dr.Samikannu was a true gentleman. I studied electrochemistry under him in the 95-97 MSc batch. He was a kind and gentle soul. I remember the surprise in his face when our batch arranged a congratulatory get-together for him on his successful completion of his PhD. I remember he valued education so much he even encouraged his wife to come back t ocollege and she studied MPhil ( if Iam not mistaken) at the Zoology dept. Really a gentleman.
